July 4th Freedom Fest Celebration

Please note that the Town of Ocean Isle Beach has postponed the fireworks spectacular display originally scheduled to take place after the concert on July 3rd.

Following the Town’s recommendation, the OIPOA has canceled the OIB Freedom Fest Parade on July 2nd. We are awaiting the Governor’s next announcement to determine the outcome of the OIPOA Summer Concert Series schedule. 🎼

We understand the disappointment this news brings, but we sincerely hope that everyone will have a safe, socially-distant and healthy July 4th.

Due to Governor Cooper’s “State of Emergency – Reopen NC Guidelines…in Phase 2, gatherings of more than 10 people in a single indoor space remains prohibited, In outdoor spaces, gatherings of more than 25 people are prohibited. These mass gatherings limits include parades, fairs, festivals, auditoriums, stadiums, arenas, conference rooms and meeting halls.”  (updated 6/11/20)
